Recognizing Loyalty in Missionary Support

Loyal donors are the cornerstone of The Pontifical Mission Societies, providing the means by which the Church can carry out its evangelizing mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in communities where the church is young, poor, or oppressed. 

In recognition of this important commitment, the Fidelis Society honors our sisters and brothers in mission with various degrees of loyalty—from our Charter members, who are just beginning their lifelong commitment to annual giving, to our Lifetime supporters, who have supported the missions for 20 or more years.

Membership Criteria and Contribution Details

Gifts of any amount to any society – The Society for the Propagation of the Faith, the Society of Peter the Apostle, or the Missionary Childhood Association – are counted towards Fidelis Society membership. Consecutive years of giving are counted by fiscal year, which runs from January 1 through December 31.

Benefits of Fidelis Society Membership

Qualifying Levels

Charter: 3-4 years of consecutive giving
Milestone: 5-19 years of consecutive giving
Lifetime: 20 or more years of consecutive giving

The Pontifical Mission Societies' fiscal year is January 1 – December 31.

Continuing to make an annual gift after reaching any membership level (Charter, Milestone, Lifetime) is required to maintain membership status.
